These imagaes where taken from London bridge to show where our first footage has been located.
This is where we shot most of our backstreet shots of Katherine singing, but also with Dean as he helps her up from the gutter in out music video.

Draft work and Ancillary tasks
Here we are working as a group on our story boarding, suggesting the appropriate shot types for our video that will be appropriate for our chosen genre and audience type. We are also individually working on our ancillary task, which includes designs for the CD cover of our released album 21, but also designs for a magazine advertisement for the album.

First signs of editing
After gathering our fist few shots of footage we captured in London we wanted to start uploading and editing what we had. We done this by using Adobe cs3 premier pro of which i had used before on my premium task and so i did know a little of how to used this software. To help myself get used to this software i studied a few youtube videos that showed me a few handy techniques and guided me through this task.
When uploading the fottage we took previous we made a group folder on our set login computer so that we new exactly where all of our uploaded footage would be kept so that when each of us want to do any editing alone then we are able to do so. When opeing our cs3 premier pro we uploaded our chosen song, we then looked at the draft i had sketched out and the times i had already prepared for each shot we needed so that it would match the sequence of the lyrics. When it came to syncing the lyrics of the song with what we had katherine lip sing on camera it was a little hard althoguh we did eventualy find the correct fottage which fitted in with the timing of the lyrics.

Group discussion
This week we had our first location shoot around central London gathering footage for the first few scenes of our storyboard. We had planned to film on London bridge although we was unable to do so due to the small amount of space availible to us as the location was very busy with perdestrians.
As one of our ley kocations wasn't of use to us we had to rethink of where our first vital few scene would take place, our second location that we had planned, the back streets of Moorgate became the main location of the first minute of our video. It was very helpful that we had all the equpment we need nearby at ean's workplace, we used a variety of equipment and shot types such as long shots, mid shots, low angle shots, close ups and high angle shots.
Because we wanted to create the feeling of Adele being lone, scared and volunerable we used alot of high angled shots using the jib. Due to the range of equpment we had availible we was able to capture all the scenes of that i had draft previously, we had even captured a few new shots that we had talked about on the day. Now that we have these vital shots we can start editing using Premier Pro cs3.

Story boarding
After discussing with the group what we wanted our music video to consist of and the type of theme we wanted i did some early sketches of drafting and storyboarding, due to taking fine art as another subject the group felt that i was the best person to carry this out. After showing the group my early ideas, we all contributed to the final vision for our music video of which i then went home and draw up into the final storyboard at the weekend.
To help the group plan out and know exactly what scene went where in the video i planned out during my work on the storyboard exactly what scene and shots went where with the timeing of the song. I song choice was quite long although this gave me plenty of room to consider a range of shot types that we could include in our music video but also when it came to constructing the narrative i had much time to have many locations and time periods.
